Desolation or Consolation

Life swings between the two: the high tide and the low tide. Yet most people panic in one and cling to the other. That’s emotional immaturity.

When things are going poorly, remember: this too shall pass.
When things are going well, remember: this too shall pass.

Change is the only constant. The secret is not in resisting it, but in knowing it. Knowing that nothing stays the same brings peace, perspective, and power.

The mature mind doesn’t ride the emotional roller coaster of wins and losses. It stays steady in the middle, anchored by routine, grounded by purpose, and detached from the drama of outcomes.

So whether you’re flying high or crawling through the mud, stay in motion. Stay in your rhythm. Keep doing what you know works.

Trust the process. Trust the seasons.
And remember, neither desolation nor consolation defines you.
How you move through them does.
