I don’t know how anybody can call themselves a realtor and not actually tour properties — get out on caravan, walk the lot, stand on the land.
You cannot evaluate a piece of property from a photo or a video. There’s no way. Photos and videos don’t give you the scale. They don’t give you the vibe, the feeling of that property. It’s impossible to get that from a screen.
Now, photos and videos are a great entry point — I’m not knocking them. But if you’re not out there going on caravan, talking to the agents, finding out everything you possibly can about that property, I don’t think you know anything about it. You just think you do.
There’s an old saying from the Code of Ethics: under all is land. Everything in this business rests on that one truth. So get out there. Go on caravan. Stand on the land.
