Most agents are out there chasing new leads while their best source of business sits completely untouched.
Here’s a number that should stop you cold. Nine out of ten buyers say they would use their agent again or refer them to someone they know. Nine out of ten.
And yet most agents never hear from those clients again.
Not because the client was unhappy. Because the agent disappeared.
Here’s what I’ve learned after fifty years in this business. Loyalty is built through keeping in touch, not client satisfaction alone. Keep in touch after the deal closes and beyond.
The fix isn’t complicated. Get your database organized. Tier your people into A, B, and C. Build a simple rhythm of staying in touch. Call. Send a note. Share something useful.
And when the moment is right — ask.
“Do you know anybody thinking about a move?” And always provide value.
That’s it. That’s the whole strategy.
Your next deal is already in your phone. You just have to nurture it.
